Great article, and I completely agree—Turkey is positioning itself to become a leading force in the Muslim world. It seems they recognized a limited window of opportunity to act decisively and emerge on top. While they’ve made moves in Gaza, (mostly words and gestures) their real strategic play has been through Syria.
Personally, I’ve always believed Assad needed to go, so I’m glad to see progress on that front. That said, Syria now stands at a crossroads: it could either spiral into complete chaos or emerge relatively stable.
If it were up to me, I would have approached this differently, using Gaza as the focal point by providing humanitarian aid through military efforts would have meant more in optics. However, Turkey made a different calculation, and now we’ll have to see how their strategy plays out. Still, the Saudis won’t relinquish their grip on leadership in the Muslim world without putting up a serious fight.
New to Substack, found this article having followed GeopoliticsUnplugged. Great read. The question of what post-Assad Syria looks like still seems very open ended, and as you've detailed really clearly Syria is only one of many open-ended questions in a changing and sadly troubled region. "May you live in interesting times" more and more seems like a curse rather than a proverb...
Mohammed Bin Salman allying with Shia Iran against the Sunni Brotherhood phenomenon Turkiye champions would seal his fate in the eyes of his own subjects and the Muslim world. The house of Saud must calculate wisely, with America First taking shape, it would be a mistake to assume the Bushes will save you, like they did in 91 and 9/11. The only thing that can stop this trend of disclosure, which is a grassroots reaction to unconventional colonizer brutality and corruption, is the Nuke. The mask is off, the 1916 Treaty of Versailles secular Nation State world order is crumbling with Zionism. The world is moving back to the historical norm of Monarchy and the Crusaders will be banished from the region, just like they were 1000 years ago. The only way to stop history from repeating itself is to end time, which I’m sure some of the anti human elite fancy as a viable option. Let’s hope for the sake of our future America takes control of its foreign policy and the tyrants propped up by the colonizers after WWI have a change of heart and facilitate the will of their peoples without too much bloodshed.
Turkey needs to be punished by the international community ( ie Israel and America ) along with Qatar for their support of terrorism. This could either be money ( for rebuilding Gaza ) or land ( for a Kurdish state , along with Syria , Iraq and Iran .
I liked this one a lot. Food for thought. I restakced it and included it in today's Rapid Read on my SubStack. Bravo.
Thank you!
Israel is the ultimate winner and will be.
Very impressive assessment of present situation in that area ✅

Jesus loves you and died for your sins.
I really do hope he loves me, but I just can’t rationalize how he died for my sins… I prefer 1st, 2nd and 3rd century theology…
This is 1st, 2nd and 3rd Century theology. This is what John, Luke, Timothy, Peter and Paul say, in line with Isaiah's prophecies.
Aryan theology my friend, Creed of Ulfilas.
All the clever ways people think of to ignore what the Church teaches...
Which Church, the Catholic Church?
